College of Health Sciences and Tech., Ijero gets accreditation for 8 programmes

 The Optometrists Portioning Opticianry Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN ODORBN) has approved full license for the Portioning Optician Technicians programme of the College of Health Wisdoms and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti (COHESTI COHESTI) 

 

 In a statement by COHESTI Management, the blessing was development to the delegation conducted by ODORBN in August 2021, on the professional programme. 

 College of Health Lores andTech., Ijero gets empowerment for 8 programmes 

. Meanwhile, the Health Officers Record Registration Board of Nigeria had in July, 2021 accredited Professional National Diploma (ND ND) Health Information Management Technology as well as the Technicians ’ programme of the College ’s Health Information Management Department. 

 

 Other programmes of the College that got full empowerment by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE NBTE) in May span 2021 include; National Diploma (ND ND) Environment Health Technology, ND Health information Oversight Technology and ND Computer Lore. 

 

 It would be recalled that the Community Health Practitioners Board of Nigeria had since March 2021 granted full mandate to the College ’s Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW CHEW)& Junior Community Heath Extension Workers (JCHEW JCHEW) programmes. 

 

 The Provost of the College, Dr (Mrs Mrs) Cecilia Adebayo had at several fora suggested of her resolution to uplift academic standard in the Institution, while also pursuing forcefully the vision of transubstantiating the College to a Polytechnic.
