International Students Can Apply For The University Of Birmingham's 2023–2024 Global Masters Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the Global Masters prize, a sizeable new prize for overseas students, which will reward you £10,000 in support of your University of Birmingham studies in this most unprecedented of years.

Birmingham has a long history of reducing obstacles to education so that the brightest pupils can achieve their full educational potential.

University of Birmingham's mission and advantages International Master's Scholarships
A total of 30 scholarships for up to £2,000 GBP will be given out. Each successful scholar's remaining tuition fees will be reduced by the amount of this grant.

Qualification Standards for University of Birmingham Global Masters Scholarships
With the exception of programs at the Birmingham Business School, for which there are separate MSc and MBA scholarships available, all taught Masters programs are eligible for this scholarship.

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible. Applicants must:


received an offer of admission after submitting an application for a taught Masters degree at the University of Birmingham campus in the UK to begin studying in the 2023–2024 academic year.
be categorized as having a "domicile" in one of the chosen nations. See the list down below.
be categorized by the university as an international fee payer for the purposes of paying tuition.
In September or October 2023, begin your studies at the University with a full-time course offered at  full-time course offered by the university in September or October 2023 on its campus in the UK. 
For instance, in the US, India, Nigeria, and China, the required minimum equivalent grade is as follows:

3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 in the US.
In the Indian system of grading, 70%
In the Nigerian grading scale, 3.5 (out of 4.0), 4.5 (out of 5.0), or 6.2 (out of 7.0) are appropriate.
Grades of 85% from a top-tier Chinese university and 90% from a mid-tier Chinese university were given.
Students receiving a full scholarship or sponsorship from a different internal or external source that covers the full cost of tuition are also ineligible for this scholarship. Some may be able to combine this with other partial rewards they have received this scholarship with other scholarships.

 Candidates who meet the above eligibility requirements and who have received and accepted an offer of admission to a Masters degree at Birmingham are welcome to submit an application for this competitive scholarship by filling out our online scholarship application form, which can be accessed by clicking the link below.

Applicants who satisfy the aforementioned requirements will be automatically considered for this scholarship.


You must formally accept the scholarship offer by the time specified on the offer you receive from the university's admissions office. Through the postgraduate portal, you can do this.

In order to receive the scholarship in full, you must also by the deadline specified by the Admissions Office in your offer letter, you must pay the usual £2,000 (GBP) admissions deposit. Your deposit must be received by August 31, 23:59 UK time/ GMT+1, in order to be considered for this scholarship selection process.
